I want to say "Thank You" to all my EC friends who have continued to drop cards here even tho I haven't been able to return the favor lately. I appreciate my readers!

Life has been super-hectic the past week. I was summoned for jury duty on top of starting a new job. Plus, the Hubby had a big Knights of Columbus function yesterday. I haven't had any down-time or at least that's how it feels. My computer sits quietly waiting for a new monitor. We were so busy this weekend that we haven't had a chance to shop for one. I hope to rectify that this week.

Hope all is well with everyone! I'll be back to candle-crafting soon!!

AFK

Sorry I haven't been updating the past few days. As some of you know (who read my personal blog), my monitor stopped working. I'm having to share a computer with the Hubby. EEEK! It's no picnic let me tell you.

I've pretty much been AFK since the monitor crashed. I'm hoping to get a new one towards the end of this week (or else I might lose my sanity). Posts made be few and far between until then. Unfortunately, during this downtime, I haven't had a chance to do much candle crafting.

The store is always open though! :)

Craft Therapy Contest!

Recently, I have discovered a great new blog, Craft Therapy. The Craft Junkie, as she refers to herself, makes some fabulous pieces of jewelry.

In honor of her upcoming birthday, she is hosting a contest. Who doesn't love a contest? I spent so much time pimping mine last month that I figured I'd pimp someone else for a change. :) It's very simple to enter - commenting on her posts will earn you an entry, blogging about the contest on your own site will earn you an added entry as will subscribing to her blog feed. The contest will be running until July 24th and is open to all US and Canadian residents.

What do you win? She will create you a custom-made bracelet. How great would that be? You can get all the contest details on her contest page. Be sure to check out her Etsy shop while you're there!

Smells Like Bread

After taking a vote from you, the readers, Banana Nut Bread appears to be the favorite choice for a new scent. Sugar Cookie was also a popular choice. How fabulous does your kitchen smell when you're baking banana nut bread? Mmmmm! I could go for a slice right now.

I will be ordering the Banana Nut Bread scent (probably this weekend) and possibly the Sugar Cookie as well. So, I hope to have the new scent available soon for purchase and will be sure to post once I do.

Don't forget that the contest for a free candle ends tomorrow. I will be picking a winner tomorrow afternoon/evening!! If you haven't entered yet, head on over to my main blog, rarereflection, for all the contest details and entry information.

Let's Take A Vote!

I am always looking for new scents and am curious to know what my readers/friends would enjoy. So, I thought I'd list a few of the scents I'm considering and see which one turns out to be the favorite.

Out of these scents, which one would you be most likely to buy?

Banana Nut Bread--Whiffs of warm banana nut bread fresh from the oven. A great mix of bananas, nuts, and sweet warm bread.

Birthday Cake--Bakery rich cake with sweet butter cream frosting

Cherry Lemonade Yankee type--The ultimate refresher with the cool sparkle of luscious cherries and just-squeezed lemons

Gourmet Sugar Cookie--Warm, crisp sugar cookie aroma

And yes, I realize that all of these scents are food related. Those seem to be the most popular. Plus, they are my true idea of Happy Thoughts.

Leave a comment and let me know which one would be your favorite!

Reminder!

For all my US readers/friends (sorry to my foreign readers), you have until Friday to enter my Candle GiveAway! I will be drawing a winner Friday evening.

If you haven't already entered, head on over to my main site - rarereflection for all the contest details. It's very easy to earn an entry. You simply need to post about the contest and my new candle store and then leave me a comment with a link to your post.

Who wouldn't love to try the Chocolate Chip Cookie candle for free?? Or maybe Monkey Farts?

Get a move on! :)
